BitMEX, the world’s most widely used cryptocurrency trading platform, has launched a new version of its open source, multi-platform, multi-wallet app. It has been named bitcore-wallet, and is built on Electron, the open-source web framework used by many popular websites, including Airbnb, Slack, and Google Docs. It is designed to be a secure, easy-to-use cryptocurrency wallet that supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Ethereum Classic.

BitGo has done it again. They have created a wallet that is the most feature-packed wallet designed for the usage of Bitcoin holders. The new wallet is named ‘BitGo Vault’ and comes with a plethora of features. It is a wallet that is fully encrypted and also comes with an additional security layer called ‘Cold Storage’.

After a long and wait-filled development, the BitCoin wallet Trezor is finally available with an updated firmware. The former firmware is still available on the official Trezor website, but that is no longer supported, as the new firmware is much more feature-packed.. According to TechCrunch, more than $10 million worth of cryptocurrencies are lost every day due to cyber theft, hacking, phishing, fraud, and a host of other vicious tricks to misuse your precious tokens. The thought of over 7,000 people losing over $80 million in cryptocurrencies between October 2020 and March 2021, a 1,000% increase from a year ago, is pretty depressing. But don’t worry, because a good wallet – as we explain in more detail in our Guarda wallet review – can help you avoid this.

And when choosing a wallet to entrust your cryptocurrencies to, why not choose one of the best to start with. Some time ago, wallets could really only store tokens, and not much else. But with today’s options, you can do just about anything, from buying cryptocurrencies to betting on them. The Guarda is probably the most functional of these handbags, you can do a lot with it. So read our review of the Guarda portfolio to know if he is really good.

What is a Guarda Portfolio?

[The Most Feature-Packed Cryptocurrency Wallet]

Guarda is a cryptocurrency wallet that is fairly highly regarded. Originally founded in 2017 as a wallet for Ethereum, Guarda has since grown pretty quickly to over 10,000 unique cryptocurrencies created on over 50 major blockchains. Guarda Wallet is available as an extension for the Chrome browser, a mobile app for Android and iOS, and a full-featured desktop app for Windows, macOS and Ubuntu.

Many reviews of Guarda Wallet seem very satisfactory, with 4.4/5 stars on Trustpilot, 4.2 and 4.6 stars in reviews in the Apple iOS App Store and Google Play Store respectively. This focus has helped attract partnerships and support for Guarda from major platforms and companies in the cryptocurrency space, such as. B. the Tron blockchain, the Binance cryptocurrency exchange, ZCash and its privacy-oriented crypto-token, and the innovative Digibyte network.

What services does Guarda offer?

[The Most Feature-Packed Cryptocurrency Wallet]

The main advantage of Guarda Wallet is the wide variety of services that users can access without leaving the main wallet interface, regardless of the device from which they use Guarda. Some of these – such as the ability to buy or bet on cryptocurrencies – are also common to many other wallets. Others have never been seen before and were not seen on any of the competing handbags. This, of course, makes the Guarda one of the most functional wallets we’ve seen in a long time.

And don’t forget that the portfolio aspect is almost the most important thing here. For the purposes of our review, however, Guarda is fairly simple and easy to use. The user interface isn’t as flashy as some competitors, but it’s cleverly designed and you’ll find it’s easy to navigate. Moreover, Guarda has a big advantage over competing wallets because it can support a wide variety of assets, from large cryptocurrencies to DeFi tokens and Stabelcoins. Only a few portfolios can boast to be compatible with more than 10,000 chips.

But in addition to being able to connect to over 50 major blockchain networks – another great benefit of using Guarda – here are some of the other services they offer, for our Guarda Wallet review…..

1. Buying cryptocurrencies

[The Most Feature-Packed Cryptocurrency Wallet]

Guarda allows you to buy cryptocurrencies without the intervention of an exchange, powered by Simplex. Using Mastercard or VISA cards, both debit and credit, or via SEPA transfer within the European Union, you can purchase any of over 10,000 tokens, with a choice of over 45 currencies. Don’t forget the processing fee. The average purchase time is pretty quick – 10 to 30 minutes, and you certainly won’t be limited in your options, as almost any chip can be purchased here.

2. Exchange of tokens

[The Most Feature-Packed Cryptocurrency Wallet]

Trading tokens is another necessary feature built into many cryptocurrency wallets. Guarda is no exception: Crypto currency exchanges are offered as a service with unlimited exchange limits and do not require authentication. Guarda will also search relevant cryptocurrency exchanges to get the best exchange rates and will give you a fully transparent commission breakdown. You can also trade these thousands of different tokens, a very convenient feature.

3. Taking out a loan

[The Most Feature-Packed Cryptocurrency Wallet]

What many wallets cannot easily offer as a service are loans backed by cryptocurrencies. But Guarda offers loan products that do not require credit checks or KYC verification, and all of your loans are insured. All loans are backed by cryptocurrencies, which means you need a certain amount of tokens to cover them. The loan can then be approved in 5-10 minutes, and you will have to pay a fairly low annual percentage rate of less than 10%, although this depends on the cryptocurrency you are borrowing.

4. Create your own crypto currency

[The Most Feature-Packed Cryptocurrency Wallet]

Another feature of the Guarda wallet is a dedicated token generator that allows ordinary users to create their own Ethereum-based ERC-20 token. With the combination of smart contracts, 24/7 support, exclusive audit service, powerful and easy to use tool, you too can create your own crypto currency. You can name it, define its features, such as release and delivery dates, and then post it on Uniswap for others to buy.

5. Blockchain domains

[The Most Feature-Packed Cryptocurrency Wallet]

If that’s not cool enough, Guarda Wallet also acts as a platform for domain trading. Here you can find and buy so-called human-readable addresses for your new website through partnerships with Unstoppable Domains, FIO Protocol and ENS (Ethereum Naming Service). This way, you can buy an HRO with your Guarda wallet and then link it to your website or another location.

6. Compensation issues

[The Most Feature-Packed Cryptocurrency Wallet]

Getting back to more conventional services, it’s worth noting that you can bet on Guarda, as well as many other competitive portfolios. The rates can give you a very good passive annual return, more than any interest or savings account. In Guarda, your options are multiplied by the dozens of chips you can choose to wager. The most profitable option we found for our Guarda portfolio test is a bet on Ontology’s ONT tokens, with an annualized return of 42.15% per year.

7. Hardware portfolioLedger

[The Most Feature-Packed Cryptocurrency Wallet]

It is a fact that hardware wallets are more secure than already locked software wallets like Guarda, even if they are not always the most easily accessible. So get the best of both worlds, as Guarda easily and seamlessly integrates with the popular Ledger wallet. It’s nice to know you can rely on Ledger’s unbreakable encryption and still have Guarda at your fingertips. When you’re done, unplug it and store it away from thieves.

GuardaWallet Test – Conclusion

[The Most Feature-Packed Cryptocurrency Wallet]

Overall, our review of the Guarda portfolio left us very impressed with the potential of this rather underrated portfolio. It outshines its competitors in many of the aspects that are most important to you, such as compatibility with a wide variety of tokens, ease of use, a well-designed app, and many additional services and features. It has almost everything you need, and it’s all in one wallet. Although we regret the lack of further integration of the DeFi here.

For example, several of Guarda’s competitors have built-in support for decentralized finance apps like Compound Finance, where you can instantly create DeFi loans or lend your tokens to other users to generate additional income. We would like to see that in the future, as well as something like Web3 support or the ability to store NFTs in the Guarda portfolio. These are choices, but overall a very positive experience after our review of the Guarda portfolio.

It’s all for the best, because Guarda is the kind of attractive product that could encourage more people to use good cryptocurrency wallets instead of random storage. According to ZDNet, there were 122 major hacks in 2020, all of which caused about $3.8 billion in net damage. Keep in mind that this value is based on the price of chips in January 2021, so the total loss would be even higher today. All you need is a good wallet. And maybe Guarda is the place for you.
